So, so, an update in 2 weeks. Not too shabby. This is worthy of an update.
So, Monday night I was at Scott's and we were watching Capote... well, I fell asleep.. I had seen it before, and I was too tired for words. I woke up around 3 am I'm guessing.. and I didn't feel quite right. I left his place on my scooter around 4 am... and about 2 minutes later I had to pull over and throw my guts up. I got home, feeling better, and went to bed.
I woke up at 6:20 am, and instantly knew I was going to throw up again. Before I reached my trash bin I already threw up in my mouth. I went to the bathroom and came back to my room knowing my parents would be up soon. Sure enough, I could hear them about 15 minutes later. I called for my mum and told her what had happened. She sent dad to get me some medicine and got me a bigger trash bin to puke in. I started to sip on a soda at this point, and about 5 minutes after doing so, puked that right up. Any puking occurring after that was dry heaving.
About 2-3 pukings later, at about 9 am my mum started to call around about getting a doctor to come see me. We don't have a family doctor though, so I had to leave to go see a doctor. My mum helped me get out of bed, because I felt extremely dizzy standing up, and before I got to the door I puked up some more of my bodily fluids. Got me in the car, and to the doctor and signed in by 9:45 am. I puked up more bodily fluids in the waiting room, and at about 10:15 they pulled me into a room. A nurse came to receive the details and took my pulse. Laying down my pulse was 75, and standing up it was 125. I was dehydrated. It took awhile for the actual doctor to come in. It was then decided I be put under an IV. For those of you that don't know, I have a semi needle-phobia. I had gotten my nose pierced a few weeks ago and I figured "If I can do that, I can do this..". Wrong. I don't mean to sound like a baby, but it was so much worse. I just cried my heart out. It felt a lot better when the IV started. It was a cooling sensation brought to my arm. So about an hour or so later, I had to roll my IV to the bathroom to give them a sample, and when I came back to the room I puked up even more bodily fluids. I laid down quickly. They put in another IV, at which point I fell into a deep sleep.
My mum woke me up later and said the IV was over (the IVs took 3 hours btw), and I needed to sit up a little bit. It was about 4pm by that time, so we had been at the doctor's for 6 hours. I felt so tired, though. I don't remember ever feeling so tired in my life. My mum eventually helped me to my feet, and I got about 10 feet before I needed a wheel chair. A nurse wheeled me to the car, my mum took me home, and I just went straight to bed.
I feel so much better. 110% better!
So, feel some pity for me and leave me a comment. :)
