long time no talk
i have not wrote anything on here in like ages.
so i will have to fill you in a wee few things...
firstly its has snowed today... great. yeah right!!! i really wanted to go to school today. i am making a sculpture in art and its is sooo amazing the feeling you get out of doing it. i only hope that it does not dry up before we go back to school. i want to go get it but the school will not be open... even if it was i could not get over there. i wish the snow would melt.
last weekend was great.
it was more than great really.
i went to an art course in inverness. it was a nude drawing class which was i like ok a little scary. i went in and i was like i have to draw a naked person all weekend. when the model (jane) took off her rope i was like trying to hide behind the my paper. but after the first drawing it felt like the most natural thing. i really got into it and by the last pose of the first day i was almost in tears. i made me think at how much i love doing this and it reminded me of how much i love art. i also understood the beauty of the human body. its amazing .. i cant express the way it feels.. its funny and amazing.
that night was my sisters 18th. we had a party in the hall next to my house.lots of ppl came. alys liked the dj...but she tells me it was only when he was on the stage. but he looked just as good off stage. so i had a few drinks and it was nice to be around me friends and have a laugh. we danced and we talked. i was a great night.
the next day i was at the art course again. it was just as good. this time i did shed a tear... i think i was only jane that saw me, she just gave a little smile back. i was soooooo happy that day. just sitting drawing. it was so relaxing and the emotions that went through me where great. i feel that its changed me somehow. i fell more confident about what i do and i know its not what other people think about my work its about how i feel about me work. i got soo much out of that weekend. the best i have had in ages.
so when i got back to school on monday, my art teacher could see that i was really involved in the drawing. thats how i am doing a sculpture. a sculpture of jane.
