so the shortlist is out of who is going to win the seemingly most covetted of music prizes. My money would be on coldplay or the Kaisers because theyre just so fantastic they should just win everything! As much as i would hate to see either of them get this sham of an award, one of them probably will. i would like to see the Go! Team win it, as they are original and different and just clearly in a league of their own. I'm also surprised not to see the Futureheads made the shortlist. They should have, over tripe like Maximo Park and Hard-Fi. It's just worth remembering that the Mercury Music Prize is a bit off sometimes and in the past has picked absolute howlers as the winner. Go! team though all the wayy!!!
In other news, i have finished watching the first series of Lost, and without giving too much away, i shall just say i am looking forward to the second. For those of you who actually watch it, theres a spoiler in there if you look closely enough.
Also, i have a job! I am a barman, in the NI tourist board pub of the year 2005. A Golden Doubloon to whoever guesses its name!
