SKIP'S DAY 2

Dec 31, 2004 16:04

I woke up at 10am because my friggin dad calls me from Arizona, otherwise I woulda slept at least two more hours. Then I had to do some office crap and drive to Canal in Schoenherr to drop off some papers. I did not want to leave the house.

The rest of the day consisted of me jogging on the treadmill, doing push-ups and sit-ups and continuing to take advantage of these HBO channels Skip has. Good thing I don't have those at home, otherwise I would never leave.

I also looked into how many classes I would need to pick up a psychology minor, compared to a social studies minor. So once again I don't know what I am doing next semester.

Additionally, I made phone calls to people to prove I have more then just three friends. It didn't work. Machak, Rico and Dan never want to hang. I talked to Shannon was just getting on base in North Carolina and I talked to Triple S, who always has some funny stories and who I will be seeing New Year's Eve.

Curt came over around 5. We looked into our bowl game pools and noticed everyone is doing pretty crappy, especially myself. We then headed to Blimpie's. The one at 19 in Mound was closed but Curt didn't want to get up. Like in Harold and Kumar go to White Castle fashion we would find an open Blimpie's. After many wacky misadventures (or a ten minute car ride) the one in Shelby Twp was open.

Back at the hacienda we watched "Without a Paddle" which was kind of dumb and then the Pistons game which pissed me off. They led the whole game but couldn't close it out. They had some of the dumbest turnovers and dumbest technical fouls. They need to shape up. We then watched Alien vs. Predator, I took a 25 minute nap in the middle of it, to be woken up by Kelly's phone call to Curt.

She came over and things got really crazy. Okay, we watched the end of the movie. She then left. Curt and I watched the last hour and a half of Boogie Nights. That is actually a pretty good movie. Great actors, Mark Wahlberg, John McGinley, Heather Graham, William H Macy, Don Cheadle, Alfred Molina all had roles.

I went to bed. Leave a comment, otherwise the journal will die. I know it should have died two years ago, but oh well.
