You know, I absolutely hate it when people I consider my friends go and get high. But it fucking PISSES ME OFF when they, knowing how I feel about it, tell me about it like it's an okay thing, and don't expect me to either leave or get pissed off. goddamn it.
There are only two things I know of that will easily get me pissed off. Linkin Park, and Pot. As a Satanist, I value who I am over everything else. The single most important thing to me, both in myself and in others, is them being themself, and not trying to be something they're not. Pot changes you. Both long-term and at the time. It makes you do things you wouldn't do, react to things differently, and it stays with you. It doesn't just go away from your system when it's over. It's an escapist thing, people trying to get away from things they think they can't handle.
It's also against the law. Again, as a Satanist, I value Law and Order very highly. I believe that if someone breaks the law, they should be punished to the fullest extent of it.
Now, I don't expect people to stop doing it. it would be nice, but I'm not delusional. I do, however, expect the people who know how I feel about it to know better than to tell me, and to say things like "it was just one time" as if that makes it all okay. No, you do not get one free time to try anything you want. so there's my basic feelings on the subject.
