Jin really has to stop gawking at the guy clad in a tight black skinny jeans, white v-neck shirt (exposing a bit of his chest, much to Jin’s delight, but he’d never admit that, no) and leather boots. He is undeniably gorgeous but that’s exactly the problem. He’s a he. A male. A fine male specimen. Although they look good together, Jin doesn’t think this guy knows what he’s getting into.

“Oh believe me, I do.” Realizing he just voiced out his thoughts out loud, Jin blushes but manages to hide it. Or so he thinks. “I’ve been doing this for five years and I’m pretty good at it. It seems your son likes me, too, Kwon ssi.”

Jin snaps out of his train of thoughts at the name. “You…don’t you know me?”

“…Kwon Jin?” the nanny answers with a bit of reluctance.

Okay, hold up. Is this guy for real? He used a fake surname, not a big deal. He’s face-to-face with the guy and yet he doesn’t recognize him? Everyone in the whole country knows of his existence. If this guy has been for five years, like what he claims, he should’ve heard of Jin somewhere…somehow.

“You really do not recognize me?”

“Am I supposed to?”

Jin finds that very insulting. He’s worked his ass off every day and night just to make a name for himself and still, this guy, who shows up at his doorstep, for some very odd reason, does not know him. But really, if anything, Jin should remember that the guy’s a nanny. This guy is gonna work for his son and is in no way obliged to know that he’s a hotshot top model.

“You know what, never mind. I’ll go wake my son up while you go make us breakfast.”

The nanny, which Jin still refuses to call by his first name, Kazuya, grabs his arm before he could even take a step. He pries the hand off his slightly toned arm. How dare he touch him without knowing who he is? The nerve. No recognition, no touching.

“Sorry for that.” Kazuya says, slightly annoyed. Is he really this temperamental? He asks himself. “But don’t you think we should switch tasks? I’m a nanny, not a maid. I’ll go wake Donghae up and give him a bath while you go and make breakfast.” He walks away, not even waiting for a reply from Jin.

Seriously, the nerve.

-

So Donghae might like the nanny too much. He clings onto him like a koala bear which is actually a good thing because it only means they get along well and Donghae clearly has no problem with him. But Jin has. One thing he hates is being ignored and he feels just that that everytime his son is with that nanny.

“Oh you’re back,” the insecure model says with no enthusiasm at all. Kazuya notices but chooses to ignore it. Jin was supposed to drive Donghae to school since he has no schedule that day so he’s free to do whatever he pleases. But Donghae insisted that Kazuya hyung (they’re already that close) should drive him to school instead. Who is Jin to refuse his son’s request, coated with puppy eyes and everything fluffy? Half-heartedly, he agreed and let Kazuya borrow one of his cars.

“If you don’t like me that much, why choose me?” asks Kazuya who plops down beside him. Jin tries his hardest to ignore their close proximity. No matter how much he dislikes Kazuya, the obvious fact that the guy is pretty is taunting him.

“I didn’t pick you okay. And I noticed you have an accent.”

“Is it not obvious I’m Japanese?”

“Oh,” Jin puts down the magazine, a small smile playing his lips. “You too?”

“You are, too?”

“Of course! I’m the one and only Akanishi Jin.” He blows his cover off unintentionally but he didn’t feel the need to freak out. He genuinely feels happy to speak in his native tongue again. Although he does that with Jaejoong at times, he finds it odd.

“And I’m the one and only Kamenashi Kazuya.” mocks the nanny, also switching into Japanese. “Seriously though, my name is a dead giveaway. You really didn’t know?”

“Didn’t notice.” Jin answers simply.

“Okay so…”

“…so are you just gonna sit there and do nothing?”

“Donghae’s out. I’m free until I go pick him up.”

“You sound like I’m asking you on a date.”

“Weren’t you?” Kazuya was most likely and the look on Jin’s face is telling him harshly to shut up and don’t mess with me. And so he does. “I’m not intimidated by you, if that’s what you’re trying to do.”

“How disrespectful can you get? I’m a client, just so you know.”

“I do respect you. But I don’t usually talk to anyone formally. It’s in my nature so, if you may excuse me for the grammar…leave me alone and suck it up.”

Jin shakes his head, feeling his temples suddenly throbbing. “I’m not liking you at all. Why did Donghae have to pick you? And why did you have to be a guy? I’m not emphasizing that for no reason.”

“You said you would hire anyone regardless of gender.” Kazuya answers, enjoying himself at the comfort that is Jin’s couch. “Well, not exactly those words but we were told that you weren’t picky so the company sent three of the best nannies and there is no way I am bragging.”

“Stating facts, I see.” Jin doesn’t know where this guy gets his confidence, because really, how could he manage to talk to a client like that. This guy, he’s sure of it, is gonna be a pain in the ass. “Are you really not gonna do anything? As in anything like, oh I don’t know, maybe cleaning the house or something?”

“Not a part of my job.” the nanny replies with a shrug. He was telling the truth so if Jin tries to complain about that, he clearly has no right to. “I’m here to take care of your son. That and only that. Deal with it, Jin.”

Jin chuckles, trying to keep his cool. “And now the formalities are dropped? Aren’t we going too fast, Kame-chan?” Kazuya knows it was meant as a joke but it was hard not to be amused.

This is going to be interesting, he thinks.

-

It wasn’t long after that Jin was complaining to his best friend and Jaejoong completely expected it. He would be utterly surprised if his bastard-of-a-best friend best friend didn’t show up his apartment (shared apartment with Yunho, actually). “And you are telling me all these because?” Jaejoong asks, eyebrows raised and thankful that Yunho wasn’t there to hear the model’s ridiculous and pointless complaints. He sighs, squeezing Jin’s shoulder too tight that Jin winces in pain. Jaejoong intended the squeeze to be painful because Jin was acting like a total jerk. “You’re a jerk,” and he says just that.

“What? No pity for me? Your best friend in the whole wild world?”

“Wide,” Jaejoong corrects. “Shisus. You’ve been living in Korea almost half of your life and you still can’t perfect the language?”

“Not my fault! I wasn’t born here and am in no way a Korean. You can’t expect me to perfect the language.”

“That wasn’t even logical, Jin. I was glad that Donghae picked Kamenashi ssi because he’s Japanese and so are you. I know, even if you won’t admit it, that you miss Japan so bad so I figured that Kamenashi ssi will be your little taste of home.”

“You’re not being logical either.” Jin knows he’s bluffing but hey, he couldn’t lose to Jaejoong although, as much as he hates it, he always does. And what did Jaejoong mean by little taste of home? Does he mean that…he’s going to have a taste of Kazuya?

Oh. My. Egg.

-

“I heard you’re a model.” Kazuya says.

Lately, his schedule-less days are forcing him to be with the annoying nanny. Yes, he’s decided that Kazuya is indeed an annoying human being. Maybe not as annoying as him, but still annoying.  “I am,” he answers, trying to ignore the other’s presence.

“What kind of model?”

“Fashion and would you please shut up?”

“Hmm…I see. But I won’t shut up because you see, I am bored and cleaning your house doesn’t sound really appealing to me. I don’t clean houses, if you must know. I have my own maid at home who usually cleans during weekends. She does a good job by the way. I can give her contact number to you if you want.”

“No thanks. I probably won’t need it and for the love of whatever, can you just shut your trap?”

Kazuya chuckles seeing Jin’s irritated state. He finds it fun teasing him. He’s had a lot of clients like him so he knows how to handle them pretty well. He also knows how to mess with them. Pretty well, too, yes.

“Do you…want to go out or something? I’ve pissed you off enough so let me take you to this cool café just around the corner. A friend owns it so no one has to pay. And don’t worry, it’s not a date.”

Jin throws a slipper at Kazuya’s direction but agrees anyway. Coffee doesn’t so sound bad.

a/n: FINALLY I GOT TO POST SOMETHING. OKAY SO I LOVE WRITING ABOUT KAME’S CHARACTER BECAUSE HE ISN’T SO SERIOUS AND I HATE SERIOUS THINGS O_O THEIR CAFÉ TRIP SHOULD BE IN THE NEXT CHAPTER AND A COUPLE OF THINGS THAT MIGHT HAPPEN. NOT REALLY SURE WHAT BUT I’M TRYING TO FIGURE IT OUT. AS YOU CAN SEE, THE STORY'S GETTING A BIT DRAGGY AND BORING SO HOPEFULLY, I MIGHT HAVE TO MAKE THE LAST TWO CHAPTERS LONGER. OH LIFE.

AND OH YEAH, YOU PROBABLY KNOW THAT JIN AND JAEJOONG ARE FRIENDS IN REAL LIFE.
