So, it has been a while, eh?
Yeah, computers aren't really my bag and I've even gotten rid of my facebook in an attempt to ween myself off of computerdom. But proto_zombie has lured me back here. Damn you!! Nah, it's cool. Let's see...what's new...Grad school. Yeah, that's about all that's goin on in my life, really. Northwestern is great and I nearly have my first semester completely done, so that rocks. I am looking for PhD schools as well. That's scary. I just did all this, and now I have to do it again. Fuck. Why can't I just be hired? Whatev. Chicago rocks. I've made some fantastic new friends, I enjoy the public transportation, and love my roommates and our apartment. And I'm kinda seeing someone, I think. It's funny because I've actually used his picture as my little icon dealy for livejournal. Only because I thought we'd never actually "date", but now I can't use it because it would just stalker-esque and creepy of me. I still think it's funny though. And I say I think I'm seeing him because I'm not really sure what this is. We've hung out twice and e-mailed a bit, but he's hella busy and we've just left it at whenever he has free time and wants to hang with me, he'll call. So, I don't really know how to classify that. It's kinda nice though because it's minimal pressure, but I also have no idea if we're on the same page. Again, whatev. That's really about it. Still drinkin, still smoking, still marginally fat, still doin my thang. I have finally gotten on myspace though, which helped me to quit facebook. Funny how one addiction replaces another. But yeah.
