Coachella Lift-Off aka The Follow-Up Post
Well, I woke up today wondering and wondering about whether I would get a three day pass with the installment plan or if I'd just do a single day for Friday and maybe Saturday...
Why I want to go Friday: Because I bought a ticket and it would be silly for me not to having spent $124.
Why I'd be into going Saturday: Some really great bands are playing. But you can look for me in nearby Redlands, CA where I will be attending the wedding of my most excellent cousin Matt and his fiance, Liz. Sure made that decision simple! Thank you iPhone Calendar!
Why I'd go on Sunday if it was free: Being nearby to Indio (I'll be in Redlands Saturday night) it could actually work out if I wanted to go back for Sunday. I've never seen The Cure live before. Hmmmmm.
I'm going to see Paul McCartney... I'm insanely excited. My love of music comes from my parents and their playing Pachelbel/Mozart/Bach/Vivaldi, John Denver, and The Beatles when I was a wee pup. Everything else comes from them. And well, all those cats are dead, I was able to see John Denver before he died and now it's so on to see a true pop culture icon and legend: Sir Paul!
