All shall know the wonder...

A year ago Christmas I was up in LA visiting friends. Michael and Kevin are Broadway gays in more than a few ways and while we were relaxing and enjoying each other's company they suddenly lit up about a new musical that we had to hear. They put in a CD and the first track they played was called "The Bitch of Living". Seemed like fun. As they ( Read more... )

A. News to no one - thank you Molly Ringwald...

I *really* enjoyed it. It was such a great production. I know the audience wasn't THAT vocal or energetic, but the cast was 100% there in my opinion.

I LOVED the set and the lighting and the songs really struck a chord.

It brought back memories of being in the teens and full of angst and being so tortured by being gay and not being able to deal with it.

It also brought back thoughts of the moment, in my own mind, when I decided to be more, to become MORE than what I had been told I could be.

Great, great show.

I'm really glad you connected with it Henry. I was excited to see the show again but even more so to see how my friends would react to it.

Tim and I saw that last summer with almost all the original cast... was amazing. Totally replaced Ragtime as the most powerful and moving musical I've ever seen.

I know right?

That second show I saw in NYC wasn't that over the top but the applause at the end of the song was thunderous... it just kept going and going and only ended when they changed the lights and started the next scene...
