The Orange Box - Portal
The cake is a lie...
Oh man, only now do I realize just how big a lie it is and why people have been going on and on about this game. Much like The 6th Sense I applaud all of you for keeping this a secret...
So yeah, I'm now in the "mud" chamber with all the "friends" who appear and I have an idea of how it needs to be done but man o' man it just doesn't look easy at all... The odd part now is that I thought the game would be over ages ago so it's unsettling that each time I get past something and expect daylight it's just dangled out of my reach. But with the way the chamber is set-up and the challenge of the puzzle one can only hope that it's not too far off now. And while part of me is ready for it to end the other part is glad it just keeps going...
And please - please don't spoil the end for me by telling me or commenting specifics...
If you haven't heard about it and yer a game nerd like me then you might just want to pick this one up. I'm having a LOT of fun with it... Check out Zero Punctuation's review of it (along with the rest of The Orange Box) to hear how even his jaded, British butt can't find a thing wrong with it either.
