Wow, ok - so beyond so many of these songs being done by the original artists there are a lot of good bands here. Mind you, there's a lot of stuff I've never heard of. I'm looking forward to QOTSA, Heart, Santana, Smashing Pumpkins, Living Color, Pearl Jam, Pat Benatar, MUSE!!!, ZZ Top, WEEZER!!, Metallica!, The Rolling Stones!!, The Strokes, Kiss, Kaiser Cheifs, Beastie Boys!, The Stone Roses, RHCP, Poison, The Killers, and GN'R.
Not to mention the boss battles against Slash and Tom Morello (so why not a Rage or Audioslave track?). Very cool though. And yes, I'm going to go ahead and break down and get the damn thing for my Wii. I know - I'm crazy. I have three guitars for my PS2 but I'm still gonna buy it for Wii. Why? Because Wii will have multiplayer online mode and there are some unique aspects to the Wii version including in-guitar sound and rumble. Yes, I'm a geek. But I'm also a gay geek with some expendable income who always wanted to play guitar but never did and can now pretend to while still getting my geek on.
