(no subject)
Tomorrow I'll be leaving for what Norwegians call "north". Other people (except maybe those in Russia and Canada) don't really call it anything, as no one lives there because no one would want to live where the sun doesn't actually rise on Christmas day. Or Boxing day, or most of December and someplaces even a good deal of November and January too. The only good thing about it is that the exact opposite happens about now. So that'll be fun. I won't be able to update my journal for a while , but since I never do, no one will notice anyway. Be back in four weeks.
Had an eye exam (?) today, I'm now down on -3.5 on my left eye and -3 on my right. It's not that bad, but it's the knowledge that its' bound to get worse that's irritating. It's also irritating because i used to have -3 contacts on my left eye, so now I'll probably confuse them and swich them around. I have to get new glasses soon, too.
