I don't know what's worse, American political ads on the american stations we get, or Canadian political ads on the canadian stations. Personally, I'm thinking the canadian ones are worse cause I also get to hear those on the radio all day.
For those that don't know, on Sunday it was announced that we're having an election on October 14th. Yes, a month away. Unlike you guys, we don't give them a full year to annoy us, you get one month, and that's it. Personally, I think it's a waste to have an election, a few seats might change, but it'll still be a conservative government, and I'll still throw my vote away by voting for the party I prefer.
Work is frustrating as ever. I fired an employee a few weeks ago, and have since hired 3 others. One of them is great, one is okay, and one is just kind of bleh. The bleh one I'm trying to be patient with, it's his first job and he's only 16 now. So he's a bit flaky in my opinion. But whatever, a bodies a body, and I'm sure he'll end up quitting anyways come winter. Not many people seem to be able to handle the -40 weather.
My 360 collection keeps on growing. Since I last updated this, I think, I've picked up Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Infinite Undiscovery, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, and NHL 09. So far I've only played Lost Odyssey, on disc 3 of 4, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, same as the ps2 version juts a few different chars, and NHL 09. RPG's are great I find for increasing my gamer score.
My friends in Calgary bought a townhouse the other week. Since then, the pressure to move there after my year at work is up has become very persistant, and it's a lot more appealing now that they have a bigger place where I'll actually get a good amount of privacy. I've been figuring out all the pros and cons of moving to Calgary, and well the cons outnumber the pros, it still really appeals to me. But who knows how I'll feel come April when my time is up really.
7 more months btw.
My best friend Ryan is now a dad. His wife gave birth to their first son on August 7th, they named him Gabrielle. I wish I could go and see him, but between classes and working full time, I can't get away to a different territory for a week all that easy. Yeah, Ryan lives up in the NWT's, he's an air traffic controller.
Obama Llama? cute as hell, and funny I think.
That's all I guess.
