Postal Service

I wish The Postal Service would make another CD.

Also, is it weird that I don't like Death Cab, but I love Postal Service?

Yes, it is weird, because theory-wise, Postal Service is extremely boring. The majority Postal Service's melodies use a limited range of pitches. I think Death Cab's melodies and harmonies are a little more complex.

I also have to admit that I've been listening to the same Postal Service CD for 3 years and am bored with it. In my opinion, this is the result of poorly constructed music. However, I've been listening to Death Cab for 4+ years and they have put out 3 CD's since I started listening to them...so maybe I had I been listening to the same CD over and over again...

I do really like the Postal Service's lyrics. I think the guys from Death Cab do a lot of neat stuff independently from the band which I respect. They seem to really try to make a difference in independent music.

Death Cab and Postal Service have the same lead singer, which is why I thought it was weird.

I didn't know any of the theory stuff...interesting.

I find Postal Service mesmerizing because of the lyrics and the synthesizer. I just don't think Death Cab has tunes that get stuck in my head as easily. I am sure from a theory standpoint, Death Cab is more innovative, but I just find Postal Service to be more entertaining.

I'm sorry if I sounded snobbish.
