Powerless, but Promiscuous

You were once like a bird. Do you remember that? Do you remember singing Powerless where you sang about how you didn't want the magazines to make your face seem whiter than it was? You know...it was that amazing song where you told us life was too short to live it just for ourselves. You followed that up with Promiscuous?! For the first time in my life, I feel bad for downloading music. Perhaps if I had supported you, Nelly Furtado, you wouldn't have to turn to sex to get money. It always makes me sad when a legitimate talent goes all Jewel-Intuition on me.
