...all graduated and stuff.
Actually, I graduated in December, but graduation ceremonies were this weekend, and they were rather...interesting. On Saturday, we had the Columbian College graduation where Frank Robinson got an honorary degree and my mother almost got arrested. On Sunday, we had the university commencement where George H.W. and Barbara Bush gave a hilarious speech full of witty banter underneath a clear, blue sky. The university president, though, gave a disastrous speech in which he tried to defend himself against allegations that he was a money-hungry administrative whore.
Monday, I helped Melissa move in to her new apartment. Got to use my huge muscles. Got to meet her boyfriend's parents. I will actually be having a crab feast with them on Memorial Day Monday (I think).
I had an interview at Montgomery General Hospital to volunteer. Good stuff. I will be starting off at the Emergency Room Front Desk. I really liked the feel of the hospital because it is in the middle of suburbia, not overly busy, on a beautiful campus with nice employees.
