Blood on American Soil
Instead of studying for my impending MCATs, I have decided to start a new feature on this LJ. Every Thursday, I will be posting a picture from pop culture events of the week. This week was difficult considering we had the births of Moses Paltrow-Martin, Suri Cruise, and Grier Shields-Henchy. However, none of that compares to Monday night's episode of 24. This is quite arguably the best season of 24 ever (I am still debating whether or not it beats Season 1). If anyone knows me, they know that I love myself some iconic images. Such as the ones below from Monday's episode where Fox cleverly put Kim Raver in a white coat representing the purity of America, only to have that very coat soaked by the blood stemming from Western tenets of superiority despite our utter dependence on foreign oil. Who would have thought Fox could come up with this stuff?
