(no subject)
I've been meaning to write some of my thoughts for a while, but there is simply no time to do it. A few quick things though:
1. I still hold firm that Snape is good. What kind of message would JKR be sending if the most hated professor is actually evil.
2. I don't think it's completely out of the question for Harry to be the last horcrux. It would explain his being a parseltongue and whatnot. And after book six, I wouldn't be at all surprised if Harry had to sacrifice himself at the end of book seven. Voldemort would have been such a genius since every powerful wizard in the magical world would be trying to protect Harry and thus ensuring Voldemort's immortality. Still, I doubt that Harry is a horcrux for two reasons: Voldie almost killed Harry at the end of Book 4 and he possessed Harry at the end of 5 taunting Dumbledore and daring him to kill Harry.
3. There are an awful lot of similarities between Harry and Voldie. You know, that whole orphan half-blood thing going on. I wonder what it all means.
4. I wonder if any of the big three will die. That would make me sad.
5. I almost feel bad for Draco. I think it'd be interesting to read the sixth book from his point of view.
6. People think that the locket found in 12 Grimmauld Place is the locket of Slytherin, but wouldn't they have noticed the sign of Slytherin on it when they were cleaning? So, I don't think that that's the locket in question. Plus, if Dumbledore was looking for such a locket, wouldn't he have been able to detect if it was right under his nose in 12 Grimmauld Place? And even if that is the locket in question, Mundungus probably nicked it and ran off with it somewhere.
