It's not Roxas... Nomura has said those three knights are entirely new characters. And the new game isn't going to be "Kingdom Hearts III", it's been hinted it will be a different series within the Kingdom Hearts... er, series.

Nomura is also known for lying, or being cryptic, when it comes to revealing stuff about his games. Considering that Roxas is only Sora's Nobody, I don't think there could be anyone else looking like him, not to say pretty much exactly like him. Right?

True, true. Which is why I added my second comment... I'm just rather dubious and don't want to entirely assume that it IS Roxas... seems a bit too 'easy', if you ask me. Nomura's a tricky one to figure out, after all.

I think you're trying to find answers where there are none. This is a completely new story... Nomura says he doesn't even know if Riku and Sora will make an appearance in the next one, and that it won't even be called "Kingdom Hearts 3" but rather "Kingdom Hearts: (insert subtitle)." It's meant to be a sidestory and not part of Sora's main story, as that has sort of wrapped up for now ( ... )

I still wonder about how Roxas can exist as the knight. Granted I did think it was him when I watched it, too, but I can't make any sense out of how it could be him. If the video happens in the far past, Roxas couldn't have been created by Sora losing his heart yet. And if it's some whacked-out version of the future, Roxas has already "merged" with Sora so to speak, so like ( ... )
