[waves as he enters the kitchen, heading straight for the fridge.]

You made all that stuff?

[sips his tea and nods, leaning against the counter.]

Yeah, figured I'd put some more already-made things in the fridge for the people who can't cook.

That's pretty nice of you.

[starts making his own sandwich.]

[pauses, hands wrapped around the warm mug.]

Well, there are a lot of people like that, plus all the kids wandering around...

Yeah, I know. Got stuck with a kid myself.

I'm still not entirely sure what to do with him.

Maybe it'd be better to hand him over to someone who would?

I'm kind of. Fond of him.

[yes, Maxwell. you're stuck with him. :| he'll teach you how to play the sitar.]

[grins a bit.]

Guess you'll just need to learn how to take care of him, then. It's probably going to be hard sometimes, especially when he starts getting the hang of... well, life.

Figured as much. But it's not like I have anything better to do here so I'm fine with taking care of him.

That's nice of you. Not a lot of people would put up with taking care of a kid all the time.

I've kind of wanted to have a kid at some point.

Well, this way you don't have to fear a woman in labor.

[snickers quietly.]

Just... be patient with him. Taking care of a Replica can be difficult. How old does he look?
