- 3 times in the newspaper
- 1 time on the radio
- 1 time on tv in a bond special..me being titled as "Watch out for this young lady: Simone L*****!"!
Never would I have thought this whole Bond-thing would turn out this way :-) I gave (along with other extras) heaps of interviews every morning after shooting and I even had a camera team visit me at home for that bond special because I was one of the few lucky extras who weren't in the mass scenes with 500 other extras. I only had scenes with the main characters like Daniel Craig "James Bond" and Mathieu Amalric "Mr. Greene" (main villain)..
The first night was all "OMG OMG" (of course only thinking...you had to be very professional on set hehe), the 2nd night it was all normal to have Marc Forster directing, Daniel Craig running around and Mathieu Amalric carrying his gun..everyone, simply everyone, was so down-to-earth that you felt like part of the team. Also we were looked after so well, we got good food, cool costumes, great make-up and hair (being refreshed every 15 minutes so you had to worry about nothing..you could sleep for 15 minutes, lying on 3 chairs and when they said "We need you on set NOW" the make-up artist would run over and make you look pretty again hehe).
Everything was surreal, even though it was this massive film production with all those big names no one behaved like a moviestar..I mean for example Mathieu Amalric (who plays the main villain), I love him, he's so funny. He would just start chatting with you when he was standing next to you..or Marc Forster, this famous hollywood director (and he's german btw), he would smile at you simply everywhere anytime..Daniel Craig was very concentrated on set but also never behaved like a movie star (btw he had his girlfriend Satsuki on set..ehm very strange person). Like I said before you felt like being part of the team, as if you've done this a hundred times before. There were moments in my first night of shooting when I had to carry this very heavy tray where I thought "Omg I have to give up, I can't do this anymore" and then there would be an assistant saying "I hold your tray for a while, just relax for a bit" ...and then 3 people would do your hair and make-up and you felt like the biggest movie star ever :-D It definitely was very hard work but the same time it was such a great experience that I would do it again anytime!
As we had to sign contracs stating your rights etc. I am not allowed to say anything about the scenes we shot..but we saw some guns and some blood ;-)
