Ring*Con disaster the 2nd!
now THIS is really a disaster (at least to me): now I read the latest news. Craig Parker's work schedule has changed and now he actually would be able to attend Ring*Con. But the Orga says he can't be invited because there's no money left to pay him! *scream* noooooo waaayyy...this really is a bad joke. The Orga mentioned they would have to sell around 150 tickets until Ring*Con (that's not gonna happen) to pay him + a business class flight ticket from New Zealand to Germany. WOW that makes around 18.000 to 20.000 € for a weekend of Ring*Con for Craig + flight ticket. That guy earns good money ;-) However that just makes me scream because Craig (together with Mark) are THE men of Ring*Con..
Also, Mana Hira Davis cancelled due to personal reasons?!? He's being replaced by Jed Brophy who's been at Ring*Con last year..
and besides that (ONE positive fact): there are going to be 19 (!) workshops over the weekend, 22 panels and 9 WETA Workshop panels/workshops, how cool!
