This is a bit easier than that 1st one.

You are given 9 standard apples of exactly the same appearance. All of them have the same weight except for 1, which is heavier than the rest. With only a standard balance weighing scale, and using only the weighing method, how would you identify the culprit apple in just two steps?

Step one: weigh 3 on one side, and 3 on the other, setting the other three aside. If they are equal, then the one that's heavier is in the three you set aside. Otherwise, you now have three on the heavier side and you know that the three you set aside do not contain the heavier one.
Step two: Put one of the three that you have determined contain the heavier apple on one side, and one on the other side. Set the third one aside. If the two are equal, then the one that was set aside is the culprit. If not, you've identified the heavier culprit.

I think his answer is wrong!

because is to find culprit coin n not apple...

but what u have are 9 apples n one is heavier... there is no coin to find!
