group projects are quite possibly the worst form of torture. you have to work with people (and you generally don't pick these people yourself) who then refuse to do work, and even if you can give them a negative evaluation their complete idiocy still means you have to do more work in order to get a good grade. thus is the story of the middle eastern political systems group project '11, in which myself, lavanya, and our classmate gretchen did 95% of the work while the other people complained, avoided meetings, contributed nothing of value, and exposed their lack of knowledge concerning the english language. also, our professor changed the date of presentations but failed to mention this also applied to the 10-12 page GROUP PAPER (who the hell thinks a GROUP PAPER is a good idea?!) so we turned it in two weeks early. then one of the worst offenders in our group complained we had done all our work for nothing. i'm sorry, i do not believe there is a "we," so shut your mouth. luckily, we now have 2 weeks to prepare a presentation. getting these people to do anything is like herding cats. retarded (and i strongly hesitate to use that word, but i can't get my point across any other way right now) cats, and one of them is really fat and calls people "villagers."
