I'm going to see Flogging Molly in Jacksonville on Friday. If anyone's interested, let me know and we can carpool then mosh. But seeing as the only dude that's on my friends list tha's able to go is going to the school where they're playing, this might be kind of moot. Anyway, just throwing it out there.
Meanwhile, I have to write a paper on a musical artist or group for my pop culture class, and can you guess what I've chosen? How'd you guess? I need to somehow tie in Irish Punk Rock into the fabric of American Pop Culture. Technically, only the lead singer is really an Irish citizen and the group is based out of LA, but I'm still finding a hard time about it.
I'm also finding a hard time writing an analytical paper voiced in 1st person. It just doesn't fit for me. I'm also not looking foward to having to make footnotes as opposed to writing in MLA format (which I am familiar with).
I dunno, any suggestions as to where I can begin with it? It's due Wednesday, so I actually have a day (I know, it's weird... I'm starting a paper over 24 hours before it's due!), and any suggestions would be great. Whit, I'm looking at you.
