Benefit Show for Saranac
Hey all. Sorry that I suck at updating this thing. In fact, I'm not even sure when last I did. Any way, this is more of an advertisement than an update.
This Friday (January 12th), we are hosting a rock band at my HS auditorium. The band is Al & The Blackcats...a rockabilly group that grew up in the GR area and is now based in the Netherlands. They are actually pretty good...picture, if you can, a Johnny Cash style Rock quartet, leaning a little more towards more classic rock than the Man in Black did.
The concert starts at 7 in Saranac, and tickets are $6. The neat thing is that HALF of the money we make goes straight to the band program...if we manage to sell all the seats in my aud, I will have $1200 for the band. This is HUGE, especially since I don't have an actual budget. Please consider coming out...I could even probably put some of you up for the night, though I am going to Ann Arbor for the Leim Irish Dance Show on Saturday.
Otherwise, things are pretty good. I will try to make a REAL update soon.
