Art Final of J2
I have just one more day of finals and then I'm graduating! It seems so weird to end this part of my life .... and start up a completely new one! I'm really excited. Hawaii bound! ;'D
On a different note:
Throughout the semester I kept telling myself to do some sort of Supernatural art piece. And so, as my Drawing II Final here's the Winchester brothers in Changing Channels!
It's not my best work (and later I'll upload a better picture). But I wanted to challenge myself and for throwing it together in two nights, I'm pretty proud.
The background is oil crayons while everything else is a mix of soft pastels and pencil pastels. I changed Dean's coat color to red because I knew I was going to get sick of coloring in green (and I was right!!!) This is a piece I'd like to redo in, say, a year or so. Aim to improve on: proportions, "realistic'ness", shading,etc .
My bed is now covered in scraps of pencil and oil shavings, my back and legs hurt from sitting cross-legged while working and watching the 6th season of Dawson's Creek. But I'm finally done!
After tommorow I can concentrate on the big bangs I' signed up for. Yayyyy! (I'm sure all my partners will be happy as well xP)
