Crew and any guests aboard the Thousand Sunny may spot (aha) a smallish leopard sunning on deck or wandering around below. Depending on how close the ships are, this leopard may also leap across or hitch a ride to the S. S. Haruhi II. It has not yet demonstrated the ability to swim.
The leopard is friendly, energetic, and rather easily excitable; it may insist that your character feed it, pet it, or play with it. The leopard either wears a straw hat or carries it in its mouth by the brim. The hat fits quite well over the leopard's ears - don't ask how.
Instinctively, the leopard will pounce on and devour anything that moves like prey, including but not limited to actual prey, insects, and wind-blown leaves. If your character makes any sudden movements, the leopard also may pounce, but can be distracted from lethal intent with scratches behind the ears.
Finally, the pirate Monkey D. Luffy has not been seen in several days, though his computer bears new claw marks.
