Who: Monkey D. Garp and Luffy
Where: Thousand Sunny
Warning: LOLOLOL

Garp hummed a theme song to a super spy show he had watched as a kid as he sneaked onboard the Thousand Sunny. He adjusted his super awesome disguise of a pair of glasses/nose/moustache thing and hid behind a tree, looking around for Luffy. Oh there was his grandson. Even better, Luffy was entering a room alone!

He took care not to be noticed as he followed. Once alone he hissed, "Oy, Luffy!"

Luffy had seen Sanji and Zoro heading the other way earlier, so he knew the kitchen would be empty for a while. With a grin on his face and a bounce to his step, he hopped inside, and hopefully inspected the room, counter by counter, for leftovers.

When he heard a voice, he didn't really think much of it. He turned around curiously, wondering who it could be, since he’d already identified it as not-one-of-his-nakama. The first thing that he saw was a pair of thick black glasses, perched on an enormous, bulbous nose. A hideous bushy, black mustache floated beneath, not quite covering yet another, silver mustache behind it.

"A... A DEMON???" Luffy demanded. "WITH GLASSES? A DEMON ACCOUNTANT??"

Garp lifted his disguise off and grinned down at Luffy, "HAHA idiot grandson! My super disguised fooled you! And be stop shouting, you'll get me in trouble!" he waved his fist at Luffy threateningly, "Or are you not wanting me to help?"

Rather than listening to Garp's warning, Luffy only got louder when he saw who the demon face was covering. "J-JII-CHAN??" Luffy looked around wildly. "What are you doing here??"

Garp lifted his hand up and brought it down on Luffy's head, "SILENCE, idiot grandson! Did I not say I would help you yank your arm? Of course I am here. But you can't let it out or I'll get in trouble with the Fleet Admiral."

"YOU CAME ALL-- you came all the way here to yank my arm?" Luffy realized suddenly that he'd thrown himself against a wall, arms splayed around his head in a half-surprised, half-protective gesture. Slowly, he unplastered himself as an eager glow came over his entire face.

"Really, Jii-chan? You'll help me?" He held out his arm a little too fast, so it twanged in Garp's direction. "The host guy said that if you pull it I'll say something cool, and I don't even need to think about what because it's all there already!!"

"I already know that cause I read the comments," Garp pointed out, grinning as he grabbed Luffy's arm, eye sparkling in anticipation, "How cool do you think this is gonna be?"

"It's going to be awesome!!" Luffy replied instantly, grin spreading wide across his face.

Garp knew his own grin matched Luffy's as he placed his other hand on Luffy's chest. (Using Luffy as a twirly thing wasn't yanking after all.) He gave a good hard tug.

He waited expectantly.

Luffy waited expectantly as well. But he only watched his hand stretch farther and farther, while nothing came out of his mouth. Finally, he said: "How long is this supposed to take?" without bothering to hide the disappointment in his voice.

Being as he was older and smarter, Garp realized what was going on. The other guy was wrong! Nothing was going to happen! This was a horrible thing of horrible thingies and he needed to act quickly before something horrible happened!

"Let me try again," he said, letting go of Luffy's arm and thinking quickly. Wait idea! He grabbed the arm and yanked again only this time he yelled, in his best approximation of Luffy's voice, "I'm going to be pirate king!"

He then raised an eyebrow at Luffy and drawled as he let go of Luffy's hand, "I know that, idiot grandson."

Luffy gaped. It'd worked! He'd heard it clearly come out of his mouth - Jii-chan had heard it too - but he hadn't said anything. "THAT WASN'T ME!" Luffy yelled excitedly. "I mean, it was me, but I didn't mean to do it! It worked because you pulled my arm! That's so awesome!!!"

He jumped around a bit before realizing that he'd pulled his arm back. He quickly pushed his other arm towards Garp. "Wait, wait, do it again! Try the other side this time!"

Garp stared laughing as his idea worked. Oky so what was the cook's name again? ah right. He grabbed the offered arm and yanked yelling, "Sanjiii meeeeat!"

Luffy burst out laughing. "This is so awesome!!! That sounds exactly like me!!! I never knew this devil's fruit was so cool!" He glanced down at his leg speculatively, then back up...

"No," Garp said, flicking Luffy's forehead, "I'm not yanking your feet. Also I don't think your crew has the upper arm strength to do it properly. I had to pull pretty hard to make it happen. So no crying if they can't, got it idiot grandson?"

Luffy had some of the strongest crew on the Grand Line, but he knew Garp's upper arm strength very well, so he had no trouble believing it. "Okay! Thanks, Jii-chan! I'm glad it was you trying it, if it wouldn't have worked with anyone else!"

Garp laughed loudly and noogied Luffy, "You're welcome dodohead. Now I must away and resume Marining all over the ocean."

"Okay," said Luffy, beaming up happily at his grandfather who had come all the way out here to pull on his arms for him. "Don't get caught sneaking back in!"

Garp made a huffing noise as he put his super disguise back on, "Grandson, don't underestimate me!" He started off to the door only to freeze. He stared blankly and said, "Uh ooh."

Luffy blinked as his grandfather transformed back into the demon, but it looked like he had other problems. "Uh oh?" Luffy repeated. "Did you use too much energy? Are your muscles stuck?"

Garp turned back, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly, "I forgot how to get back to my ship."

"You... forgot?!" Luffy stared. "But... how did you get here??"

"Vivrecard lead the way, rode a seaking I punched in the head and tamed, and swam when I got close enough that your crew might see me," Garp immediately replied.

"...Jii-chan," said Luffy, voice hushed. "That... is... SO COOL!!!!!! Wait, so you don't have a card thingy for any of the people on your crew?"

"I accidentally left them on my ship," Garp laughed, taking his disguise off to rub his face better, "Glinda, Lumiare, and Bogart are going to be really mad at me about this."

Luffy couldn't help it. He burst out laughing again. "I can't believe you-- ahahaha -- forgot to bring them!! You can't even get back to your own ship??"

Garp's eyebrow twitched as he balled up his hand and roared, "IDIOT GRANDSON!" and punched Luffy in the head.
