First Post(AKA the Caving)
Whoo Hoo!! As it says this is my first post ever and we'll see what happens from there..
Well First I have to say I caved in. A couple of the people I know have this things so I decided it was time that I make my own.. who knows...
Well this comes off of my weekend of going to the XJam Wrestling shows. For those of you who don't Know X-Jam is a Mini Wrestling federation that has been going on for about a year now and has had only shows in Minot at the Vegas Hotel. But if you know me you already know that since you've either gone to the shows or are part of it some how.
Anywho, so for the entire day after the Saturday show, I think today is Sunday, I slept... That was good. But the Shows were great, Hall of Famer and former WWFE(I can't refer to them as WWE because that sounds so uber gay, their company name is World Wrestling Federation Entertainment)/AWA Wrestler Maurice "Mad Dog" Vachon was there. This man is incredible. He put in 30+ years in the wrestling business and he still comes out to see the fans. For those of you who don't know "Mad Dog" Vachon, lost his right Leg in an Automobile accident due to a hit and run. But this Man has the Strength and determination to walk the 80 feet to the ring and give us a few kind words and an insight to his life. Not only that but he was only scheduled to be at the Saturday showing but he arrived a day earlier to the Friday night showing as well. For those things I appauld and salute the "Mad Dog" and wish him the best just as he had to me when he signed a Classic Picture of him and his Brother "The Butcher" Vachon.
Well I know it's hard to get over the greatness of the Mad Dog but I should put in a few other words. The worst thing about this weekend is the fact that my Voice Cracked(Again). But that's a good sign, that means I had a wonderful time and was giving it my all, just like all the wrestlers at the show.All in all the week end was productive. I was able to get up after my 3-4 hours of slept Friday night/Saturday morning to run a Pirates of the Spanish Main tournament. Had some time to kill(but didn't kill anyone, which is good)than set up for The weekly Anime Club Meeting. Notably I'm the Anime CLub President of the Minot Anime Club which meets weekly at the Force of Habit Hobby Store in Minot at 5:00PM on Saturday nights and everybody is welcomed to attend and hang out. The shows tend to be 13+ related material. We're currently watching "Saiyuki" and I don't know if they started any thing else after I left Saturday night.
Anyways.. That's all the important stuff for now.. I'll see what I can find out from there...
