Flexed my voting muscle,
Okay the election happend, Harper won, a Minority government. I was expeting this, i voted for the NDP I don't care who knows it, IF it were a Majority government I would be more nervous, but its not thanks to the French, and the Liberals and the NDP for making a government. I dunno how i feel, i voted but it didn't feel like i did anything. I suppose its like a group of ants lifting a rock, each ant carries a little bit of weight but without that ant, the rock would almost topple over and crush the other ants. So I voted, my ant effort counted and our Candidate rock is carried forth to its pile.
I suppose that i should be proud. My favorite rant to those that do not vote is: "That many people bled and died for my right to vote" and that is true, at least i think it's true, I hope its true. Otherwise what i did yesterday didn't mean a thing. It was almost as if our canadian election didn't exist, as compared with our neighbours election.
Not sure how I feel.
