*Not expecting this, the attack comes straight at him. Having no memory of battle, he is left with no way to attack or defend himself. In fact it was only a reflex that made Gin pull out his Zanpakuto to try and deflect the attack. He barely blocks it though as Ren's own weapon breaks his sword and manages to leave a deep but not too deadly gash across his chest.
The other thing barely saving him from being split in two was something that happened all of a sudden. It had happened while Gin was thinking of a way to try to avoid the whole impact of the attack by trying to dodge it. Next thing he knew at that moment was that he had somehow teleported quite some feet away from the shaman.*
[ooc: Basically he tried to block with his Zanpakuto but since he doesn't remember it's name or anything about it, it's pretty much like any sword and so it broke. In the meantime, Gin had been thinking about wanting to avoid that hit that, although he experienced some impact, he unknowingly used Shunpo to quickly move away before it chopped him in two or anything >.>]
... I will destroy anything that stands in my way.

I mean, I wasn't thinking it was "totally mind blowing" strong but I figured that if he can chop something in half with a spear like thing while not using O.S...that this attack would be kinda strong. Hmm would Gin having a semi deep gash and few broken ribs sound about right for this?
Oh yes~ Ren should feel accomplished for managing to get Gin to drop all the jokes, teasing, grins, etc and be serious. It's really rare to get Gin pissed off like that~
Aw no need. Knowing Gin, he'll recover, try to find a way to defend himself properly just in case it might happen again, and go back to messing with Ren's mind like it never happened. :D ...Although once Gin remembers how to use Shinso, a fight between these two would be awesome.
