Dinosaur
Well livejournal is certainly a bit of a dinosaur which I tend not to visit these days. It would appear that nearly all of the people who used to post on here have migrated to a different place, but I wouldn't say a better place. I used to enjoy reading peoples ramblings and random updates about thoughts, activities or suggestions of parties, clubs and nights out. I wasn't too fond of the usual goth bitching you'd occaisionally get, but at the same time it did amuse me and was at times very entertaining.
All you get with facebook and twitter are pointless posts with no content or meat to them. I like the photo and event parts of facebook, but twitter just seems to be a complete waste of time. Clearly people are far too busy to either write or read more than a sentence, and of course it has the compulsory and highly irritating text speak.
In other news, I'm enjoying three weeks off work. I love my job.
