2007 was going to be a very decisive year has overall been an excellent. This year saw the start of my working life and the end of education. highlights etc
Completed my degree and finished university
Got a job working in Formula 1
Been snowboarding twice
Matt and Saiira's wedding
played a few gigs with death penalty
went on holiday to morzine mountain biking
been doing far more biking, been to rheola and cwmcarn
bought myself a new road bike
the download festival
numerous gigs and clubs throughout the year
paris for the rugby world cup final
My work christmas party
End of university party
Hardcore heaven weekender
I'm sure there were other things but i can't remember off the top of my head. There have been a few sad points like the news about my mum, the death of my grandfather, and a couple of other sad things but the important thing is to come out stronger. Moving to Northampton has on the whole been successful although so far I've yet to really meet anyone new apart from my work collegues although my attempts to venture out in town have been pretty pathetic. I'm glad i've met some people to start a band with and hopefully that will lead to meeting other people. Anyway, here are my plans etc for 2008
Going for a weekend away to Budapest in feb
Snowboarding in March
Some sort of family holiday, probably chartering a yaught in the med or carribean
no doubt some other sort of holiday somewhere, thailand/goa would be nice and some other weekend breaks.
Meet new people and hopefully a tasty lady - I am now officially fed up of being single
I want to go to the Le Mans 24hrs
have my capri on the road - its all booked in to be sorted out
get a band going properly and play some gigs
get as much biking as possible done - go at least once a month
get fit - cycling to work every day once the weather and light is better
Seriously calm down on the drink as it just ends up with me acting like a twat and getting fat
Work my ass off at work and aim for that F1 world championship
Thats about it. So farewell 2007, bring on 2008, I'll be celebrating in style down in the capital with the team.
