I just saw probably the first, maybe, but also one of the funniest zombie movies ever, and it happens to be the first in the line of Dawn of the Dead series. I saw things that would make a fan nowadays cring...... ok, bust a gut, same difference.
First off, first part of the movie, I happened to spot the old man off the 6 Flag's commercials there. He tried to pose as a zombie, but I knew better then to believe that, though, I always thought he seemed and looked a little, shall we say, shriveled? I swear though, I could just see that theme coming from nowhere and everyone bursting into dance, followed by the bus running some of the other zombies over while coming on the scene.
Now, second thing, on the little radio broadcasts they posed, they called the zombie's firstly,"Mis-shaven Monsters", then it was,"Deadly Assassins".... So... this might be just me, but with that description, I think of dudes with ninja outfits on just without the cloak on their faces. I didn't know the Homeless qualified as zombies, though, with the intellect of some of this nation's people, I wouldn't put it past us to label them so.
..And last but not least, I know where the blond chick stereo-type comes from, and its directly from this film. She was one of the first characters introduced, but, throughout the film, she was a mute, ran around, felt on household furniture, and said,"But Johnny has the keys". I think if I was a zombie, I'd just have opened her head to see if I could find a brain, then feasted.
I have an idea.... I think since good zombies are hard to find, we should get random homeless people TO play as them, that way they'd have money and wouldn't be homeless anymore^^, but that's just me....
I highly recommend this film to anyone who likes a good cult classic^^, enjoy, and luck be with ya on wandering cemetarie's in the middle of the night ^_~. GrrrrrrrAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! -bites arms- mmmm, chicken...
