May Maddness

May 30, 2009 23:53

Well what a month this has been. It felt like a roller coaster ride. Let's see, where shall I start.

Well first off was the Knights of Columbus Convention held at the Victoria Inn right at the begining of May. That was alot of fun. My Grand Knight from our council couldn't make it to the meeting so I got to Represent my Council in the Buisness meetings which meant I could vote. Which was awesome.  I also had to give a small speech about the Squires which I didn't like, I hate giving speeches, it makes me nervouse. Anyways I got a few councils interested in starting Squire Circles (Youth Groups) So that's going to make a fun and hard year to start them. Then right after that I started working with Susan. I drove her to the university so she could take a class. Criminology. I also took notes for her since she's in a wheel chair. I enjoyed it. Susan is an awesome person and is one of the Dirties Minded criples ever.  She is so funny, and not afraid to poke fun at herself. It's been quite an experience. I also started rehearsals for the BHT's Fringe Shows Antipode and Gorilla. I'm stage Managing both. Oh man I'm so excited. Rehearsals have been gong well, and I know the shows will be amazing.

Then the bad news started to come. We found out from my Dad that Brodeur Brothers, the car dealership he works at, is being shut down by GM. The news was a huge shock since they just did huge renovations and I thought they signed a 5 year contract. But I guess they didn't. So after Dec 31st, My dad will need to look for a new job. I joked to him saying, "Well dad, you might have to come and work in a theatre with me." Which he replied, "hahaha That'll be the last thing on my list." LOL it was pretty funny. We did suggest that he should become a chaplin in a hospital or prison or something. I think he'd really like that. Then Not even a week later we got a letter from our Landlords in St. Malo. This is where we normally when we get our bill for the upcoming summer, BUT NOT THIS TIME. This Time we were presented a letter which stated that we has to leave our campsite by July 2010.  There son wanted a riverside spot and we were there next property in line. It has nothing to do with us, they like us, it's just our spot. Now that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard in my life, and I've heard a lot of stupid things (insert shot at megan kosman here. So many I can't just pick one :P) You don't just kick out a family that's been there for almost 30 years. My Grandpa built that place and it's been in our family ever since. And this was going to be our first year without him. That just really erks me. So My mom desided to not even kep it for this year. We've emptied out the entire trailor and next week we're going to take down the cabana and move the trailor to my place. My mom's going to cry so much. It'll be hard on the whole family.

But back to good news. This accurance in St. Malo made my mom look for a new place somewhere else. We all know no matter where we go, it'll never be the same, but we still want to look. And by the grace of god my mom found an amazing place in Beausejour called Broken head plains. I haven't gotten to see it yet but the rest of my family did and they said It looks amazing. My mom took a spot and she told me about it. It's a much bigger spot then in St. Malo, It's a 5 min walk to the creek (4 ft deep), there's a big open field, a pavillon with a great garden and gazebo, and every weekend they set up a projector and put on a movie for the kids. It sounds like it'll be a lot of fun. And a great part of it is that, Since all 4 of our names are on the lease, noone else can come and use our trailor unless one of us 4 are there. Sooo that means we can have awesome parties and my cousin Jordan can't go out there with out us knowing like he tried to do in St. Malo once. So I'm very excited about this news. It wont be the same like I said before but we're all going to love it, I know it.

So that's been the bulk of my month, the begining and end were great but the Middle was horrible. Plus the stress of working at Safeway and the Fringe and Susan, and in June working at the Playcare Center at the University. My Minds just been racing, but it's good to get it out in the open.
