Pup-Mas and politics

Last Sunday night I met friends at HQ Bar for their 'Happy Pup-Mas' event, a fundraiser for Red Collar Rescue. It's an organisation run by Christy, an American who saves dogs from the kill shelters and finds new homes for them in Busan. It was a naturally dog friendly event, with several in attendance. It also featured a pub quiz, at which I did badly, and a raffle, at which I was a winner. Everyone else won pizza and beer. I won yoga lessons! I haven't attempted yoga in eight years since the few brief times I tried it while doing workaways at yoga retreats, but I guess I have to start again now!

Today I went to Seomyeon to have a look at the protests against Yoon. On 14th December a second vote to impeach Yoon succeeded, yet he has so far ignored summons to go to court.
Daehyeon accomopanied me, for once putting down his ipad and getting out into the real world. Like many protests in Korea, this was a peaceful affair, featuring a mass sit down and sing along with (electric plastic) candlelight vigils.
