Three times just to make sure. A last she just leans back in her chair and rubs the bridge of her nose, now understanding why he was upset.]

[Ahh, not as sorry as they would soon be.

The scientists would pay their dues to him with the coins of their souls. The vampire was almost convinced at this point.. that this is what they wanted from him all along.

The sympathy of his matron was noted however with simple nod as he lied back down to rest.]

[She watched as he nodded to her and went back to resting. She almost pitied the cursed scientists. Almost. There would be hell to pay once he was able to dole out punishment for this newest...inconvenience. She debated with herself momentarily whether or not she would actually stop him when the time came.

Hm.. No, she wouldn't. The scientists deserved what was coming to them. She would merely sit back and watch.]

[Silently she reaches over and clicks off the communicator. And now it boiled down to a waiting game.]
