{✠}Along the receiver ripples a succubine purr of chipped solicitations. A young girl's voice, holding back anguish as she mutters words she cannot begin to understand why she knows to be true, or how they shall bring her reprieve.{✠}
There was a fragment of truth in that story He wrote... 'Yes, I too can love--you yourselves can

Without any suitable bedclothes, all she wore was the black dress that she had been wearing since her "arrival." Her shoes untied and arranged neatly next to the bed, and a rosary that hung limply down from her neck on a thin gold chain. It wasn't something that she had originally owned in the underground, but finding it already clasped around her neck gave Nill the impression that it was important enough for her to wear it even now ( ... )

Wake...
[A robust purr tickled her ear, a smoothing hush to lead her gently from her dreams and into a waking nightmare.]
...Wake and see me, voiceless angel of men..their best beloved one.
[What would meet her was a vision of a princely sort. Cloaked in the black and red capes and cowls of the Victorians. A face waxen and angular yet vague; an age almost indeterminable, as if time did not hinder the sable-maned figure, who's garnet eyes flickered light embers to touch her mind and leave her with a sense of warm swain.]

[She plaintively sat up in bed, thinking that maybe she had dreamed... Until she saw him; that figure with the garnet eyes and the handsome, regal bearing.
His presence there startled her, and she quickly pulled the bedsheets up close to herself out of feminine modesty, sliding back over the mattress. The winged girl gaped at him, not knowing who he was or where he came from.]

[A subdued plea brisked his Ţara Românească lilt, before he dipped his head in subservience, and bowed before the frightened maiden.]
Do not fear me.. It is not the first time, or the second, that I have come to appease you.
[A white-gloved hand reached out elegantly as it to touch her, yet only grazed the air before her un-speaking lips.]
Time.. Time is clouding your mind.. nettlesome thing that it is.. yet I..
..I have come bearing gifts for you.

....Good God why now....
[Arthur just stares at the transmission, almost hoping that it was some sort of sick prank from the vampire, but no matter who long he waited, the punchline never came.
He quickly did the only thing he knew to do, reach out to the vampire through the seals, but he felt nothing. The seals were gone, Alucard was free and now he was on his way into a pit of insanity if he didn't do something.
Not to mention save whatever poor soul he happens to run into in Discedo.]
...Bugger...

[A resound like a rapid thunderclap and a hellacious neigh cried out in the night. Whirling past Arthur like one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse was the quaking hooves of a midnight steed--Fiery eyes alight and guiding it's iron hooves, a garnet-cloaked rider clutched mercilessly at it's reigns as it tore down the boardwalk.]

He didn't want to.
Frankly, he couldn't care less about any single one of them. A bunch of strange faces in a strange world that he couldn't begin to comprehend.
He just... needed a moment. Standing outside the high school, the sound of clattering hoofbeats across the pavement caught his attention. Horses? Here? Maybe that's all they could really have in a broken down hole a world such as this. Curiosity hidden under a mask of indifference, he glanced down the road.
... Now... that... that was new...]

[Fortunately, she quickly used her magic to determine it's nature.]
