And you knew what horror was then!
Stuff beyond the ken of men.
We sure could use a writer like H.P. Lovecraft again.

Thriller was a scary song.
Stephen King's books were too long.
I don't know just what went wrong!

Near Dark told us what to do.
Fright Night and The Lost Boys too.
Kill the vampire or like Salem's Lot you're through.

Didn't sparkle in the sun.
Baseball wasn't undead fun.
Vampires would make you run.
