Well, I got my iPhone from the Apple store at Somerset because all the local AT&T's were out. I wasn't going to go through the day without one so I stood in line with maybe 100+ people for about an hour and 40 minutes. It really wasn't that bad, there were some interesting people inline and the Apple folks handed out bottles of cold water. There were also representatives that were making sure everyone qualified for the phone and let people look at demo models. I was out of my Sprint contract and wanted something cool and very useful. The iPhone seems to be something for someone like me.
Once I picked out my phone model and case, the porting/registration took about 2 minutes. I was able to activate and use my phone immediately. There were, however, about 5 or so people in the store where the phone wasn't activating correctly. I'm pretty happy about it except how it syncs up with iTunes.
The one thing i do really want as an app is SlingMedia for my Slingbox, it streams your television so you can watch it remotely. I hear they are working on something so hopefully soon.
