  • MSNBC has canceled its "Imus in the Morning" simulcast, the network announced Wednesday.
  • Joe Francis, the "Girls Gone Wild" founder, was indicted today on federal tax evasion charges for illegally deducting more than $20 million in phony business expenses from his 2002 and 2003 corporate tax returns.  If convicted of the federal charges, he faces a maximum of 10 years in prison and fines of up to $500,000. Francis was arrested yesterday on an unrelated federal warrant stemming from a civil lawsuit brought against him by seven underage women who were filmed by "Girls Gone Wild" cameramen in Florida in 2003. The contempt citation was issued after Francis rebuffed a judge's order to settle the case with the aid of a mediator.
  • Former "Prison Break" star Lane Garrison will plead guilty to manslaughter.  Garrison had been charged with vehicular manslaughter in connection with the death of a Beverly Hills high school student last December.
  • Snoop Dogg pleaded no contest in a Los Angeles County Superior Court today on two felonies related to arrests last year on gun possession and marijuana charges.  He was given a three-year suspended sentence -- so no jail time. Dogg has also been sentenced to five years of formal probation and 800 hours of community service.
  • Marc Anthony, husband of Jennifer Lopez, dodged a bullet today when as part of a plea agreement, he and two others agreed to pay a total of $2.5 million in back taxes. In exchange, Anthony, whose real name is Marco Antonio Muniz, will avoid criminal prosecution.
  • DNA results were revealed and it's a match for Larry Birkhead and Dannielynn Smith.
