It would be easier to do this if we had a wiki. But whatever.
I think there were a few how-to guides before for the city, but they're out of date. We need a new one. I guess it's not like I have anything better to do, but I've only been here for a little while so I don't know everything. I'm guessing a lot of people have been here a long time and know a lot, but it would be easier to share that information with new people if it was written down.
Last year in school we did a project where we had to interview our grandparents and record stories about when they were little. This could kind of be like that. Practical information, and then history and random facts. That way if someone leaves we don't lose everything they knew. Like backing up a harddrive.
And you don't have to repeat yourself every time someone new shows up.
Does anybody think this is a good idea and wants to help?
Grandma always said we had to give back to the community. And I wasn't able to help with the slugs...
[ooc: Yes, I am actually going to do this if there is an IC interest to warrant it. I'm way more OCD (and have been here far longer) than Kaz-chan so help from other characters is essential if it's going to happen and it's more fun to do this without NPCs! Your OOC help to write stuff is not entirely necessary if I know the info your chara would know. The past city guides I know of (digging way back here) are by Carl, Light Yagami, & L/Ryuuzaki. If anybody has another one feel free to bring it up ICly or OOCly. Kazuma is just kind of upset that he can't do all that much to help people and this is a minor way to do that. I mean, some people don't know what the internet is! This'll be a longterm project so if your character is traumatized by the slugs right now and you still think they'd want to be involved don't worry about it you'll be hearing about it again in the future (probably).]
