Take the first sentence (or two) from the first post of each month of 2008. That's your year in review.
January: "Happy New Year! I'm a kindof New-Year-Scrooge (it's just another year...big deal. And what's a "year" anyway? It's just a measurement) really, so a bright picture in my LJ is about as far as my celebrations go hahaha."
February: "Wednesdays incident has thrown up issues, as expected. Justin is on my side and being great (changed my mind about him hating me for now), and has made a promise to the H&S officials at college that an incident like that won't happen again."
March: "I went to London today.
I don't like crowds, i don't like dirty cities, i don't like coaches, and i don't like the Underground."
April: "I'm out of bed. And i've been quite productive - done a little work."
May: "I had a shit day. I can't be bothered to talk about it."
June: "Thank god for bonjella and ibuprofen. The pain kept me up all night, and i was nearly in tears this morning from the pain."
July: "Tomorrow i intend to sort through my old clothes for stuff for the charity shop and/or (edit: done!) continue with
farmer_fayes birthday present.
I'm hoping Brewery Arts will call tomorrow."
August: "Few more Istanbul photos
here.
I took like 200 hahaa - wish i could upload them all!"
September: "Wasn't well last night. I ended up calling NHS Direct and they sent an ambulance."
October: "I knew living in The North (and i consider this to be north - i'm a southerner so anything above Birmingham is Northern!) would be cold. But f*ck, i'm FREEZING."
November: "Laptop is going off now since I'm off to Edinburgh at stupid-o-clock tomorrow morning. Back on LJ maybe sunday night, maybe 21st birthday (monday) morning!"
December: "I was totally weirded-out in town today. I don't keep up with the news so i didn't know that VAT was dropping (from 17.5% to 15%) as of today."
Conclusion - i moan too much, and my lj is too full of insignificant dramaz. I'm going to model my LJ-writing more in
freakshownia because most of her sentences were positive and ending in "!".
