True but...people like public holidays. The public are simple creatures, bottom line. If you want to make them happy, give 'em a day off and put on a show for them. They'll love you for it. And if you give them bread too apparently, that seems to work as well. :\

I've never tried it myself but I'm always told "Bread and circuses" keep 'em happy.
