I'm in the midst of a project (really, if we're to be honest, it's more like five projects -- all but one of which I neglect for the moment), but I just had three other ideas that I really like. The one that I'll likely play with soon (before I even finish the current one) will be a very weird little tale that will start with these figures and quotes:
7,000,000,000,000 - Atoms in a cell.
10,000,000,000,000 - Cells in the human body.
400,000,000,000 - Stars in our galaxy.
100,000,000,000 - Galaxies in the observable universe.
13,730,000,000 - Age of the universe
500,000,000,000,000 - Synapses in the network of the human mind.
Quantum mechanics is certainly imposing. But an inner voice tells me that it is not yet the real thing. The theory says a lot, but does not really bring us any closer to the secret of the 'old one'. I, at any rate, am convinced that He does not throw dice. -Albert Einstein
If the universe is infinitely big then the number of distinct configurations of particles, like the number of distinct possible coin tosses, actually is finite... The configurations of the particles will have to repeat. -Bryan Greene
The Old Ones were, the Old Ones are, and the Old Ones shall be. Not in the spaces we know, but between them. -H.P. Lovecraft
