Happy birthday charliesmum!
First rehearsal of Suckers was good yesterday afternoon- cast is going to rule. mollyx will p0wn this play. We had a nice time doing the tablework, especially, kept cracking each other up.
Sacha couldn't make it at the last moment- she had to take her father-in-law to the hospital! Hope everything's okay with her. Poor Alan didn't have much to do, since she's his partner through the play. He seemed happy to be there, though (and very impressed with mollyx and Jared).
Jared went ahead and dropped his pants at the first rehearsal- love actors who just jump into things. He's so cute. Hamana.
Ore, or Or show was very good last night- we had about 15 people in the house, including Jess, who I haven't seen in ages. Also Anna Savant, who I met doing that Shakespeare reading (and who's worked with Laura- AND knows Nicole Simpkiss(!)). Also Isaac Klein, who saw the weird reading of Thyme of the Season, (and who's worked with Mike and Norah before) and now seems to be a big Duncan fan.
Christmas music still has not been changed, but Laura said afterward that she's been in touch with the sound designer and she wants it changed, too, so hopefully that'll happen by Tuesday's performance, if not today's.
Went out with ceebeegee for drinks at HK afterward, which was lovely. Talked about some backstage drama, and tried not to bitch about things.
Show at 1pm today. Awesome.
I hear tell we're going to Cancun afterward. Then producer's meeting at 8:30, which is convenient.
