Strange Things Afoot at the Midtown. The Fresh Fruit Festival is now "curating" their "LGBT Division". Wha? Also, the MITF is now accepting Short Subjects, through April 1st- only $25 to submit, no production fee.
Meeskite Marc texted me last night that he saw George Takei in the men's room at Guys and Dolls.

Went to meeting yesterday. Things moving on.
Met up with Mom shortly afterward at Olive Tree Cafe. Good food (mom got their famous borscht), didn't see any celebrities (but it was rather early). Great to spend time with mom. Lots of deep conversation.
Mom suggested we head to Marie's Crisis for a little happy hour, which was nice. Mom charmed the heck out of Kenny (who was bartending). There were strange girls at the piano, so we didn't get to sit there, alas. Did sing "Our Private World" (with the dip into "O Holy Night", which Mom hadn't heard last time).
Walked mom back to her car, and she dropped me off at the subway.
Tonight seeing Figaro/Figaro with Alan (which has Katie Stodd in it!, and apparently some of Alan's friends from Vassar). Maybe seeing Watchmen after with Chris. Trying to buy tickets online, but it's not working. Grrr.
