Pickles
Yeah, so this is unpleasant- photos from high school showing up on Facebook:
Me and Don (I think- the flash makes it hard to tell). In my defense, the hair was dyed black for a role. The Native American Feather Earring a souvenir from our trip to Arizona. I wore that jacket with the buttons on it ALL THE TIME.
Last night went to see the Naked Comedy Showcase with Alexander. It was really very enjoyable. It's a very "happy body" atmosphere, the comedians were all geeky-hot and damn funny (especially Mike Lawrence, who ended up the evening). Penises were interestingly arranged from smallest to largest in the course of the evening. Not sure if that was planned. The host did a little interview with each comedian after his set- "what was that like for you?".
May go again- they hold it once a month.
Then headed out to wonderpanther's birthday party at Cowgirl. Nice time, nice folks. Saw Dave Erbach, who I haven't seen in ages. Lisa wants to set me up with her friend Mark (who is now single)- she and wonderpanther have been telling me for years that they want us to meet. Nice Jewish doctor- how bad could it be?
Then went to Tony's- his cousin Randall is leaving to go back to Costa Rica today, so they had a little farewell for him. Randall was hungry for Chinese food, so he and I went looking for some, only to discover that they were closed, despite claiming to be open till 1am. Booo. So we went to a deli and got panini sandwiches. They asked Randall if he wanted a pickle, and he'd never heard the term before (it's something else in Spanish). The guy behind the counter thought that was funny, so gave him two pickles.
Going to make my pesto now, for Glory's Murder Mystery Party tonight. Mom gave me tips on how to do it better. Exciting!
