Made risotto for the first time in the new apartment last night! Wooo!
Watched Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the: Sith last night- I still hadn't seen it (I wasn't all that impressed by I and II), but it was on Spike just as I was sitting down to eat my risotto and chicken, so I figured why not.
It was mostly pretty good, with some really badass moments. And then some serious
Narm.
Saw Tux the cat several times- he's getting used to my presence, but still seems very suspicious of me. He's sniffed my hands, but won't let me pet him yet.
I'm reviewing these and have plus-ones:
- This Friday, January 9th, 8pm - Shadow of Himself, a new version of Gilgamesh by NYIT-Award-Winning Rabbit Hole Ensemble.
- Thursday, January 15th, 8pm - Ten Blocks on the Camino Real by Tennessee Williams (an early draft of his classic Camino Real) by Target Margin Theater.
- Saturday, January 17th, 8pm - Hollow Log, a new drug thriller at Roy Arias Studios.
- Thursday, January 22nd, 8pm - Sessions, a musical about therapy, at Algonquin Theatre Co. (Starring Broadway's Ken Jennings and the awesome Liz Larsen).
Let me know if'n you want to come.
